Celtic memory
Melodies, modes and dances from the Breton tradition, reborn through distortion.
Celtic Pirate Metal · Brittany
Riffs as heavy as an anchor, Celtic melodies that smell of sea spray and tavern choruses to roar until dawn. The crew has weighed anchor: raise the Gwenn ha Du and climb aboard.

The Lore
Some nights the west wind carries more than foam. Along the coast of Brittany, they say the old sailors' songs never truly fell silent: they simply waited for a crew mad enough to sing them again at full volume.
Breizh Da Keken was born where two worlds collide: on one side, the memory of gwerz ballads, sea shanties and fest-noz dances; on the other, the raw power of amplifiers and double kick drums. From the legends of the Ankou to the taverns of Cornouaille's harbours, every song unfolds like a crossing.
No cardboard Caribbean pirates here. Our flag is black and white, our rum is called chouchen, and every boarding ends in a giant circle dance. Celtic Pirate Metal, made in Breizh.
Melodies, modes and dances from the Breton tradition, reborn through distortion.
Songs of the deck and the bar, written to be roared in chorus.
Heavy guitars, a merciless rhythm section and unrestrained stage energy.

Single — Breizh Da Keken
A departure anthem with its bow pointed at Quimper. The title openly tips its hat to the great transatlantic celtic-punk anthems, but this ship flies the Gwenn ha Du: heavy guitar riffs, a chorus built to be roared by a hundred throats, and a destination that leaves no doubt about where the crew comes from.
Single — Breizh Da Keken
The crew's opening cannon shot. An ode to someone everyone knows: the Breton friend — the one who carries a black-and-white flag to the ends of the earth and turns any bar into a fest-noz. A drinking song made for singalongs, driven by a metal rhythm section and Celtic-inspired melodies.
